Booka Shade – Live at Red Rocks 05.29.10 & More
On Memorial Day weekend, German Electro-house legends Booka Shade performed at Red Rocks during The Disco Biscuits’ setbreak. This was all part of Bisco’s second annual Bisco Inferno. Booka Shade’s live setup includes a full drum kit and wide array of keyboards and synthesizers. Contrary to some assumptions about live electronic music, this is truly a live act that feeds off the energy of the crowd and it was certainly evident in their set at Red Rocks last month, which kills from start to finish. To get a preview of their live game, check out the video of “Body Language” from their DVD and / or listen to a clip from their set at the 10 Days Off Fest in Belgium. Be sure to take the jump for details from the aforementioned show plus more awesome video footage.

Check out “Donut”, “Charlotte”, and “Body Language”, but absolutely DO NOT miss the “Bad Love” jam…if you don’t believe us, skip to the 3:50 mark. For a preview, see the video below, which has MUUUUUCH worse sound quality than the above recording, but can give you an idea of what the show entailed.
This whole video / set is sick, but make sure you at least check out the remix of Animal Collective’s hit “My Girls” around the 19:00 mark. They go with a full DJ set on this one (no analog drums).
I do not even know how I ended up right here, however I believed this publish used to be
great. I don’t know who you’re however definitely you’re going to a well-known blogger for those
who aren’t already. Cheers!
