MMJ + Band Of Horses @ Raleigh Amphitheatre 08.26

True rock n effen rollers My Morning Jacket announced their summer tour plans recently and the (current) tour closer is right here at the Raleigh Amphitheatre on Sunday August 26. Band of Horses will open in what is a bright spot on the summer schedule full of mediocrity at the downtown venue (sorry Alice Cooper fans). Hopefully it doesn’t rain and the roof doesn’t leak water on MMJ’s equipment, but here’s to hoping more acts like this get booked for late summer / fall!. For those in New York, Shabazz Palaces is opening at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn. Do not miss that.

Mailing list presale begins today at 12noon EDT. To Participate go to http://mymorningjacket.com/redeem and register online using the promo code MMJ2012. By registering online you’ll receive a one week free trial to Roll Call – The My Morning Jacket Fan Club. This will allow you the ability to purchase presale tickets and access fan club only content within the My Morning Jacket website.

  1. The online registration promo code MMJ2012 is not working for me. Anyone else having trouble?

  2. I’m glad to see Band of Horses supporting MMJ, I think they’re a great pairing and I wish I had been able to see them together live. If you haven’t seen it, you should check out Band of Horses new video for Knock Knock at http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2012/08/24/159982723/first-watch-band-of-horses-knock-knock
