Mokhov – Halcyon Days

Oleg Mokhov is a Russian-American electronic producer based in San Fran, who travels the world creating music and remixes on his laptop (“music in a backpack” is his claim to fame). When he’s not making his own music, he’s interviewing other electronic artists (such as Com Truise and Solvent) for the BlueRize podcast network, which he co-founded. Mokhov has put out a string of EPs and remixes over the last year or so, and this past summer, he dropped his debut full-length called Halcyon Days, which can be streamed at it’s entirety on Soundcloud. If you like downtempo / chill music like Boards of Canada, Four Tet, or Tycho, then definitely throw this album on to help you through the workday.
