Robert Plant Announces Tour, Brothers Dickinson to Support

Rock and Roll legend Robert Plant has confirmed a 15-date tour for 2011, which will kick off in Asheville on January 18th. North Mississippi Allstars DUOLUCO (Luther and Cody Dickinson) will support Plant on all dates. The tour will be in support of Plant’s latest release, Band of Joy, and feature the same band with whom the record was recorded. In addition to starting the tour in Asheville, the Zeppelin front man will be giving more NC love on February 2 and 7, performing at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium and Charlotte’s Ovens Auditorium respectively. Take the jump for a couple of vids.

  1. not thrilled. this likely precludes a NMA headlining tour at least until the fall of 2011.

  2. i guess i should add…$70 tickets are a tough sell for the venue they are playing in nashville.
