The Barnburners – The Raw Boogie EP

The Barnburners are a blues band that used to tour Northeast Ohio. The trio consisted of Jason Edwards, Kip Amore, and one Dan Auerbach, half of The Black Keys and half of that picture on the banner at the top of this page. Anyway, the good folks over at The Steam Engine have posted the band’s only album, The Raw Boogie EP. Definitely check out the Junior Kimbrough tune “Meet Me In The City”, which also appeared on The Keys’ album Chulahoma.

  1. I met Jason of The Steam Engine a little while ago and was searching the release date of this album and came across this, of which I got from him! Small world, we actually just met up and saw The Black Keys on NYE in Chicago…keep on keepin’ on. ~Cheers~
