Under The Radar: Delorean

Looking for something fresh to add to your summer playlist? Try on the blissful, synth-pop of Delorean for size. This Spanish quartet (who have been making music since 2000 by the way) has just released Subiza, their third full length album and first since 2006. With this, Delorean delivers a suave and fantastic record that blissfully meanders through MGMT and Yeasayer-like instrumentation with vocals somewhere around a convergence of Phoenix and Animal Collective. Don’t miss this one.

Even though the album has a US release date of June 8th, you can grab it from iTunes and Amazon right now. Amazon has it for just $6.99. Check out a few tracks and a free MP3 single after the jump.

First Single and opening track from Subiza: “Stay Close”. Download MP3 here.

“Simple Grace” is an uplifting tune with Jackson 5-ish samples.

Also check out the Drum n’ Bass infused “It’s All Ours” and cool, breezy “Real Love”.
