A Happy Day for Charlotte!

Several weeks ago, we reported that the Neighborhood Theatre was to be no more.  We’re happy to tell you that, due to overwhelming support from the Charlotte community, the Neighborhood Theatre will remain in business!  Do your part for both the artists and the venues, and GO SEE LIVE MUSIC.

“Due to the overwhelming support from the Charlotte music community, JEM Entertainment is happy to announce that we have decided to continue operation of The Neighborhood Theatre with no plans to cease operations or to close the venue as previously stated.

Since the original announcement twenty-one days ago, we have had an outpouring from the community offering assistance and ideas on how we could save the Neighborhood Theatre. After much thought and careful consideration, JEM is on board to do just that. This change in direction has been made possible by all of you, our supporters, and your positive energy.
All current management and staff will stay in place continuing to bring you the same level of quality music as we have done for the past 6 years. Due to the desire from the community to help, we would like to offer you a few ways to show your direct support. Please stay tuned as we will be announcing these options in the coming days. It’s time to get back to it Charlotte!!

From the bottom of all of our hearts we say THANK YOU.”

  1. I think one of you should go see Umphrey’s McGee at the Neighborhood Theatre to support live music and keep the theatre goin’ strong.
