Take Note: Swiss Lips
Manchester export Swiss Lips are a 5-piece electo-pop band who may be relatively unknown for now, but given that they signed a four album deal with Sony Epic at the end of last year, that’ll probably change soon. Plus, their catchy, danceable sound may make them, as Hendo put it, the “Foster The People of this year”. So far, they’ve dropped 3 tracks: “GROW”, “DANZ” and “U GOT THE POWER”, the latter being the best so far. One thing is for sure, the video for “U GOT THE POWER” is classic…and it also sounds like a Big Pink song. Good lookin out to Hendo for the tip.
